| Article | Hakatai, importer and distributor of glass mosaic tile since 1997, has added eight new colors and one new blend to its popular Aventurine series of ¾” x ¾” tile. The Aventurine series is characterized by its rich, earth-to-sky toned colors and the shimmering gold dust that weaves randomly through each tile. Precious gems and nature’s rich color palette inspire the new colors: Peridot, Blue Emerald, Lapis Lazuli, Deep Garnet, White Alder, Wisteria, Marigold, Blue Agate and Egyptian Red Blend. There are now 31 solid colors and 10 standard blends to choose from in the Aventurine series. The gold-hued swirls in each tile add depth to the semi-translucent and opaque colors of the series, making it ideal for revitalizing a variety of interior and exterior surfaces including countertops, backsplashes, walls and pools. The Aventurine series is available mesh-backed in 1.15 sq. ft. sheets. Solid colors are also sold loose in 1 lb. bags, and the series can be used in Hakatai’s online custom blend and custom gradient tools.
