| Article | DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA.—Recognizing the popularity of NASCAR across the U.S., Mapei has teamed up with Robby Gordon to sponsor the racer’s No. 7 Dodge car at a number of events during the 2008 season. The first race to feature Mapei’s logo on Gordon’s hood, rear quarter panel and rear “TV panel” was the Subway Fresh Fit 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in Phoenix, which was taking place at press time earlier in the month. Other races in which Mapei’s logo will be featured include two other Sprint Cup events, Oct. 5 in Talladega, Ala., and Nov. 2 in Fort Worth, Tex.
