Dalton, GA., Aug. 6—The Dalton Floor Covering Market Association, sponsors of the Carpet Technologies Show to be held September 11 through the 13 at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center, has nearly sold out exhibit space.

With more than 154 exhibitors to date and six weeks to go, DFCMA officials expect to be at full capacity for the bi-annual event. Total exhibition space is expected to cover 50,000 square feet. International suppliers and equipment manufactures representing the various markets within the floorcovering industry, will feature the latest engineered products, machinery and innovative services at this year’s show.

Pre show events include the third annual Tufters on the Turf Golf Tournament, to be held on Monday, September 10, at the Barnsley Inn and Golf Club. Exhibitors and attendees are invited to join current and prospective customers in a round of golf. Net proceeds will be used to implement educational programs for DFCMA members.

To kick off the 2001 Carpet Technologies Show, DFCMA and American Textiles /Textile Panamericanos Magazines will host the opening night welcome reception for attendees and exhibitors alike. The welcome reception will be held Tuesday, September 11, between 6:00 and 9:00 P.M., in the upper concourse of the Trade & Convention Center.
