| Article | ANAHEIM, CALIF.—The World Floor Covering Association’s (WFCA) industry certification program for all designations— Certified Flooring Professional (CFP), Certified Flooring Sales Consultant (CFS) and Certified Flooring Executive (CFE)—is now available online. This news follows the recent decision to consolidate all training and certification requirements with the WFCA last year (FCNews, Oct. 1/8). The program, launched in 2002, is designed to measure a professional’s knowledge and performance. Participant members include CCA Global Partners, Abbey, Armstrong and Mohawk. As it has been in the past, overall training and coursework will remain with each organization. The application and final examination stages of certification as well as re-certification documents can be accessed through www.wfca.org/proexamlist.aspx. “We aim to do what is necessary to enhance our members’ businesses and bottom line,” said Chris Davis, WFCA’s president/CEO. “Certification symbolizes excellence and achievement within the industry and provides another level of security for consumers. Providing instant access to this ‘right of passage’ was always part of our plan.
