| Article | DALTON—Two new executives have joined Mohawk’s Hard Surfaces Group. Dave Slough is Mohawk’s new General Manager for the Northeast Region, and Paul Armstrong is Wood Specialist for the Northeast and Mid-Central regions. “Dave and Paul are people with a wealth of experience in hard surface products, and their addition to our team give us new resources for supporting Mohawk dealers in programming, sales, and technical expertise,” said Bob Nichols, Vice President of Northeastern Regions for Mohawk. Slough will provide sales leadership, industry knowledge, and general management to increase the sales and profitability of his region. He has over twenty years of floor covering experience, with emphasis in Ceramic Tile. Prior to joining Mohawk, he was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Superior Products, an independent floor covering distributor, and also worked for Color Tile for 20 years. A graduate of the University of Baltimore Business College, Slough resides in Lancaster, PA., with his wife Kathleen and daughter Erica. Armstrong will provide category and sales leadership to increase the hardwood performance of the regions. His career spans over twenty years of floor covering experience in independent distribution with JJ Haines and Superior Products. Armstrong has expertise in the hardwood category including sourcing, sales, marketing and technical support and will work with dealers in developing programs, training, and other areas He is a graduate of Salisbury State University in Annapolis, MD. He resides in the Annapolis area with his wife Kimberly and children, Elizabeth and Lachlan. |
