| Article | Dalton—In response to the growing popularity of the new PVC-backed resil-ient floors, Advanced Ad-hesive Technologies (AAT) worked closely with several manufacturers to develop AAT-322 FG Sheet Vinyl Pressure Sensitive Adhesive. From installation, to repair and removal, the new pressure-sensitive acrylic-based adhesive from AAT makes working with fiberglass-reinforced resilient flooring fas-ter, easier, and more cost-efficient, noted AAT president Greg Wood. “Using AAT-322, resilient floors with fi-berglass cores install easily and can be removed in one piece, leaving sub-floors cleaner and needing less prep for the new flooring. Traditional sheet vinyl often leaves felt backing stuck to the floor.” Additional advantages of 322 to the installer: seams can be adjusted easily for pattern matching and repairs, and patches can be done quickly, with good results. AAT-322 is a zero-VOC ad-hesive that meets or exceeds the standards for the Carpet & Rug Institute’s (CRI) Green Label Plus certification. For more, call 800.228.4583. |
