| Article | WHITTIER, CA, January 22, 2008—Eric Scharff has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hibernia Woolen Mills, a premier supplier of wool carpets and a longstanding Wools of New Zealand Brand partner. In addition to his new responsibilities, Scharff will be an equity partner in the company along with Steve Bric, President of Hibernia. Scharff brings years of valuable experience in marketing, sales and product development to Hibernia, specifically in high-end wool. Previously, Scharff was Broadloom Marketing Manager with Karastan before joining Glen Eden Wool Company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Eric has been an important part of the Glen Eden team for 8 years,” says Stewart Hay, president of Glen Eden. “We regret that he is leaving, but recognize the uniqueness of this opportunity and wish him every success.” Scharff replaces Dick Cloud, who recently announced his retirement.
