| Article | UFLOOR Systems, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the Uzin-Utz Group, Germany’s premier manufacturer of high quality floor covering installation systems, has appointed Brian Preuss to the position of Regional Sales Manager. In his new position, Preuss will work to build UFLOOR Systems’ network of distribution partners, contractors and retailers in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico, with a strong initial focus on Colorado. Preuss, an active member of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), comes to UFLOOR Systems from Atlantic West Flooring Distributors, Inc., where he achieved the highest growth within the company, both in sales and gross profit for 2006. In his previous position, Preuss managed the outside sales of unfinished hardwood flooring, pre-finished hardwood flooring, engineered wood flooring, finishes, stains and sealers, primarily in Colorado. His experience in the wood flooring industry with distributors, contractors, retailers, buying groups, builders and architects, made him the perfect candidate to join UFLOOR Systems team of highly qualified wood flooring professionals. In early 2007, UFLOOR Systems lured Gary Reynolds, the founder and first president in the history of BonaKemi USA out of retirement, to serve as a sales and marketing consultant. Preuss says that having Reynolds experience on board played a major role in his decision to join the UFLOOR Systems team. "One of the reasons why I wanted to pursue working with UFLOOR Systems was the fact the Gary Reynolds was involved," Preuss said. “We feel the growth is going to be tremendous based upon the personnel involved as well as the abundance of high-quality products UFLOOR Systems manufactures.
