| Article | UFLOOR Systems, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the Uzin-Utz Group, Germany’s premier manufacturer of high quality floor covering installation systems, has appointed wood flooring industry veteran Woody Hilscher to the position of Eastern Sales Manager. In his new position at UFLOOR Systems, Hilscher will work to build UFLOOR Systems’ network of distribution partners, contractors and retailers in the eastern United States, with a strong initial focus on the Southeast region. Hilscher comes to UFLOOR Systems with over thirty years of experience in the wood flooring sales and distribution business, most recently from Preverco Inc., where he served as the Southeastern regional sales manager for its line of engineered and solid pre-finished flooring. In addition, from 1995 to 2006, Hilscher worked in various management roles for BonaKemi USA, including his last position as BonaKemi USA Regional Sales Manager – Floor Care Division. During his time at BonaKemi USA, Hilscher was awarded the Gary Reynolds Sales Achievement Award, as the firm’s top salesmen. Reynolds, the first president of BonaKemi USA, has also joined the UFLOOR Systems’ team as a marketing and sales consultant. Hilscher has been an active member of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), where he served as the Education Committee Chairman, as a member of the Technical Manual Committee, and as a Certification Guidelines Officer. From the NWFA, Hilscher holds a Craftsman Degree, Master Craftsmen Degree, Vanguard Degree, Advanced Master Craftsmen Degree, and is a lead training school instructor. Hilscher is also certified by the Construction Specifications Institute and the American Society of Interior Design.
