| Article | Dalton—The Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) at its annual meeting here elected Vance Bell, CEO of Shaw Industries, as its new chairman. Ralph Boe, president of Beaulieu Residential, was named vice chairman, and Mohawk Industries’ Frank Boykin will serve as the organization’s new treasurer. In addition to the three officers, the following were elected to CRI’s board: Jeff Lorberbaum of Mohawk, John Wells of Interface Americas, Russell Grizzle of Milliken & Co., Dan Frierson of The Dixie Group, Scott Lowrie of Dow Chemical, Dan Stone of Invista, Chip Howalt of Textile Rubber & Chemical Co., Glen Hussmann of The Tandus Group, Jim Bethel of J&J Industries, Jack Ganley of Mannington Commercial, Mike Gallman of Blue Ridge Carpets and Bob Weiner of Constantine. |
