| Article | Ark Floors Inc. has named Phillip D. Reifinger their new Vice President of National Sales. Reifinger joined the Ark Floors team earlier this year as National Sales Manager, and his promotion to Vice President of Sales is a key step in the company’s growth strategy. “Phil’s 26 years of industry experience and impressive performance record make him the perfect choice to lead our sales team,” said Ira Lefkowitz, Ark Floors CEO. “Ark Floors will be coming out strong in 2008, and Phil’s efforts will be a big part of that.” In a push that will more than double Ark Floors’ hardwood flooring line, the company will be rolling out 40 new exotic and distressed products at the upcoming Surfaces show. The California-based company’s distribution network will also broaden on a national level, and an East Coast Warehousing facility is planned to accelerate service. “This is a very exciting time for the company,” Reifinger says. “We’ve got a very strong factory behind us with tremendous resources.” Ark Floors Inc. is the U.S. arm of A &W (Shanghai) Woods Co., one of the largest flooring manufacturers and importers of Brazilian timber in China.
