This picture was taken in 1957 and was sent in by Mel Tishler, who is in the second row from the left and in the second seat. This 50-year-old photo is a classic and other than Tishler, we can identify only two people. Let’s set the stage: The audience was the entire Hard Surface Division of Renard Linoleum & Rug Co., then one of the largest distributors in the country. The place was Trenton, N. J., and the host was Amtico and the Marcus family. The sign in the back says: “Keep talking…Amtico has the floor!” Now, standing in the rear are president Bob Marcus, extreme left, and Natalie Marcus, extreme right, the renown designer.
