| Article | ST. CHARLES, MO (July 16, 2025) The National Wood Flooring Association has announced the winners of its 2025 Wood Floor of the Year Awards. The awards were developed to encourage and recognize innovative craftsmanship and design in wood flooring installations. Since the program began in 1990, more than 300 awards have been presented. Winning entries were selected by a panel of judges chosen for their expertise in the industry and design. As in previous years, NWFA members from across the globe voted online for their favorite floor to determine the association’s highest award – Members’ Choice. This process allowed NWFA members to evaluate the entries based on technical difficulty, quality of installation, and overall appearance. Recipients of the 2025 Wood Floor of the Year awards are as follows: • Circles/Curves/Bent Wood - J.L. Vivash Custom Wood Floors Ltd – Paris, Ontario, Canada • Best Use of Technology - M P Caroll Hardwood – Buffalo, New York • Historic Restorations - Universal Floors Inc. – Washington, DC • Colors/Finishes and Textured Wood - Custom Floors Unlimited – Houston, Texas • Marquetry and Inlays - Custom Floors Unlimited – Houston, Texas • Manufacturer Spotlight - Woodwright Hardwood Floors – Dallas, Texas • Parquetry - All American Floor Sanding and Installation – Summerfield, Florida • Best Staircase - Henschen Hardwood, LLC – New Knoxville, Ohio • Members’ Choice – Grain Design Flooring – Florence, Kentucky The 2025 Wood Floor of the Year Awards were presented during the NWFA’s 2025 Wood Flooring Expo, held earlier this year in Charlotte, North Carolina.
