| Article | ONTARIO, CANADA—The growth of activity on its Retailbuyers.com Web site has prompted the Canadian-based Retail Buyers to extend its services to dealers with a companion site, RetailerToRetailer.com. The new site allows dealers with overstock to sell their merchandise, as well as purchase other retailers’ products at or below wholesale price. Deborah Lalande, founder and CEO, said the idea came after speaking with furniture retailers. “Many of them have huge amounts of excess inventory taking up warehouse space and tying up their cash flow.” RetailerToRetailer follows the same format as Retailbuyers.com—registration is $4.95 a month and includes the ability to list unlimited products with information and photography. Registration is available to any North American dealer of home furnishings, gifts and decorative accents and accessories. Retailbuyers.com receives a small commission on shipped items.
