Article Jessup, Md.—Tate Access Floors has acquired ASPmaxcess, a leading Canadian manufacturer of raised access floor systems. The Oakville, Ontario-based firm will continue its existing manufacturing and business operations in Canada under the new name, Tateasp.

“Our acquisition not only strengthens Tate’s overall market position in the U.S. and Canada, it helps address the growing demand for sustainable flooring solutions in both regions,” said Ralph Mannion, general manager for Tate. “The prestige of the Tate name, our global resources, innovative design and manufacture greatly enhances Tatesap’s ability to meet the demands of both its dealers and customers.”

As the largest access floor manufacturer in North America, Tate has a lot to offer Tatesap in the way of support, he noted. “Its dealers will continue to enjoy the highest quality products and services. They will also benefit from a more streamlined supply chain.”

Tate dealers will now be able to distribute Woodcare panels manufactured in Oakville, Ontario. They are available in a range of factory-laminated finishes.
