| Article | Portland, Ore.—Brian Radditz, a 34-year veteran of the flooring industry and president of Wanke Cascade, retired June 7. At press time, no decision had been made as to who his replacement will be. Ray Eppley will head up sales and Art Conner operations. Radditz joined Wanke in September 1973 following college. At one time or another, he did just about every job from customer service to branch manager. In 1977, he was elected president and has been in that position since then. Along with his responsobililties at Wanke, Radditz found time to be very active in other organizations, including the National Association of Floor Covering Distributors’ (NAFCD) board of directors, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) member for 12 years, and served on numerous distributor councils and many other boards outside the industry.
