Mohawk University, the training arm of Mohawk Industries Inc., has presented four O.C. Floor Gallery employees with certificates of achievement following a three-day training and certification seminar held recently in Baltimore, Maryland. “We place a high priority on the ability of our employees to interact with consumers in order to gain their trust and confidence,” stated Chris Williams, President, O.C. Floor Gallery. “A well trained staff with a complete understanding of their flooring needs allows us to ultimately earn their business.” Dustin Levy, Melody Banks, Jessica Griffith and Chuck Jackson have received certificates recognizing them for successful completion of Mohawk University’s “Selling Outside Your Buying Style” curriculum and “Product Knowledge Wood and Laminate” course. Jackson received additional recognition for his management training entitled “Maximize The Value of Your Brand.” Banks, former owner of The Tile Shop in Hebron (MD), and Griffith, the recipient of several customer service awards, are staff members at the company’s Ocean City (MD) showroom. Levy is the son of Glen Levy, a 30-year veteran of the flooring industry, who manages the company’s Ocean City showroom.
