| Article | Para-Chem, manufacturers of PARABOND® floor covering adhesives, proudly announces the certification of two wood flooring adhesives. Millennium Series 2007 Superior Quality Solids and Engineered Wood Flooring Adhesive, and Millennium Series 2004 Premium Plus Engineered and Parquet Wood Flooring Adhesive, have both received the CRI Green Label Plus Certification effective April 2007. These products from Para-Chem share the distinction of being the only wood flooring adhesives in the world to receive such certification. Both the Millennium Series 2007 & 2004 contain Microban® antimicrobial protection, which is built-in to products during manufacturing to provide continuous antimicrobial product protection. Microban® is the best defense against mold in building products and is used to prevent propagation, through moisture control in the use of mold resistant materials. Para-Chem adds Microban® to these products to protect the dried/applied adhesive from bacteria, mold and mildew— which cause odors and product degradation.
