| Article | LaGrange, Ga.—MilliCare will now offer Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)-approved classes to its network members after recently being recognized as an IICRC accepted school. “Our customers asked for this certification, and now we can teach these classes within our organization, making them available to each of our individual franchises and targeting customer needs and wants,” said Stephen Lewis, technical director of MilliCare. The IICRC classes will offer more in-depth information for technicians regarding carpet fiber, fiber identification, carpet construction, dyeing methods, installation issues and chemistry. These courses will simply add to the pre-existing seven-part technician certification program specific to MilliCare’s proprietary dry-centered carpet cleaning system.
