| Article | Lewes, Delaware (October 3, 2006) --- The O.C. Floor Gallery has announced plans to expand its business further into Delaware with the planned opening of an exclusive Mohawk Industries ‘Floorscapes’ dealership in Lewes. The award winning layout and interior design center will showcase an entire line of flooring products featuring carpet, hardwood/laminates, ceramic tile, vinyl, and area rugs. The new showroom, on Highway One (US Rt 1) in the newly constructed Mariner’s Plaza Shopping Center, will be the first of its kind in the Delmarva area to offer consumers a complete range of flooring products and window treatments for residential and commercial use under one roof. The expansion will also feature a “family friendly” approach to in-home sales. The company is using its popular theme, “We Get The Job Done Right,” to market its flooring concepts in a way that delivers the company’s unique blend of selection, service and customer satisfaction directly to consumers in the comforts of their own homes. “We want families to enjoy all the benefits of our samples and selections where they are going to look their best, in their homes,” stated Chris Williams, President, O.C. Floor Gallery. “Who knows more about a home than the people who live there and that’s where we need to focus our attention,” said Williams, who also pointed to the higher cost of fuel as another reason to make his business not only friendlier but more convenient. “Our in-home visits will provide instant savings to customers who are looking for ways to save fuel, time and money for other important family needs,” Williams said. O.C. Floor Gallery is hoping the new “showroom-to-living room” approach to marketing will continue a steady climb in sales that have reflected the company’s determination to compete in an ever changing economy. The marketing strategy will also target homeowners and other consumers who have abandoned the “big box retail stores” in favor of a more personalized, custom designed approach to their individual flooring and window treatment needs. “We are giving consumers an opportunity to invite us into their homes, much the same way that we have invited them into our showrooms,” Williams stated. “Our goal is to provide one-stop shopping that offers high quality flooring at more affordable prices.” O.C. Floor Gallery has earned a regional reputation for being among the best in the business, designated as an exclusive “Floorscapes” dealer for Mohawk, a leading manufacturer of professional flooring products. The elite status gives customers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee designed to enhance the appeal of its entire line of products. “We pride ourselves on getting the job done right. That’s the reason more people are coming to O.C. Floor Gallery, and an even bigger reason why we are going to them.” O.C. Floor Gallery, recognized as one of the eastern shore’s leading flooring companies, has been serving the entire Delmarva region with quality products and services for nearly a decade. The company has established an impressive record of award winning sales and service in Maryland and Delaware. In addition to several communities where O.C. Floor Gallery has become a household name, the company is also favored among local building contractors and developers in the Delmarva area. The company maintains active memberships in the Eastern Shore Building Industry Association, the Homebuilders Association of Delaware, and Chambers of Commerce in Lewes, Rehoboth-Dewey and Fenwick-Bethany. O.C. Floor Gallery recently received national recognition for its popular highway safety public awareness campaign, Floor It…But Not On The Highway that promoted safe travel for residents and visitors to the resort. The summer campaign netted $15,000; proceeds that represented a portion of every residential contract signed with customers between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The money was returned to the community as a donation to the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company, which provides career/volunteer fire and EMS (emergency medical services) throughout the entire resort. The O.C. Floor Gallery is seeking a national corporate sponsor to expand the campaign in 2007 to include the entire flooring industry nationwide. |
