Article | Remember them? This Dazzling Dozen of fabulous former fiber facilitators worked for Allied Chemical, later AlliedSignal, through the years at the company’s New York City headquarters. The Allied Alumni hold reunions every June to renew relationships and share experiences—past and present. This year, the 7th annual reunion was held on June 22 at Sardi’s, the world famous bistro in Manhattan. In the photo, seated from left, are Dick Prinstein, vice president of carpet fibers; Fred Poses, executive vice president of Allied Signal, now CEO of American Standard; Jack Goldstone, director of market research; Sarosh Sukhia, manager of fiber, international, and Jim Beard, New York sales manager. Standing from left, are John Platt, manager, Dalton sales office; Jim Drohan, Associated Retail Merchandising Specialist coordinator; Joe DeJohn, Dalton sales manager; Dave Robbins, manager, international business; Don Aleksejus, merchandising manager; Alan Belzer, president of Allied Signal Corp., and Al Andersen, merchandising manager. Beard, Andersen and Dick Norton, who was in attendance but not in the photo, organized the reunion, which included the Apparel Division and the International Fibers Division. Now, how many of them do you remember? |
