Redwood
City, CA, Oct. 30—BroadVision, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise self
service applications, and Expo Design Center have launched a new website pilot
test, Expo.com, powered by BroadVision Retail Commerce. The site acquaints
potential customers with Expo Design Center and gives consumers online access to
hundreds of interior design and home decor products carried in Expo Design
Center stores.
Expo Design Center launched the site to help promote Expo stores and to gather
customer feedback. Currently, the online store offers a select group of 200
products for sale. Once ordered, these products can be shipped via United Parcel
Service to any location in the continental U.S.
"Based on success with homedepot.com, BroadVision seemed the natural choice
for building the Expo.com site," said Bob Wittman, president of Expo Design
Center. "By tracking customer response to the site and the products
offered, we're able to constantly improve our online customer experience."
Visitors to the site can also get an overview of Expo Design Center's eight
showrooms, obtain company information, find their nearest store location, learn
about job opportunities and get information about the Expo credit card.
"We're pleased that Expo Design Center chose to use BroadVision's
enterprise self service applications for new online initiatives," said
Chris Grejtak, chief marketing officer for BroadVision. "Expo.com gives
Expo Design Center an efficient online channel and helps build demand for Expo
Design Center stores, giving exposure to customers across the U.S."
