| Article | Houston—Tarkett recently honored distributors in both its commercial and residential divisions. Tarkett Commercial presented the winners of the Azrock 2005 Distributor Awards. Included in the awards were Best Performance New Distributor, Highest Premium Sales, Best Sales Growth and Highest Market Share. The highest honor, Distributor of the Year for 2005, went to Michael Halebian. Azrock distributors excelled to such a degree, noted Gilles de Beaumont, president of Tarkett Commercial’s North American division, that Tarkett bestowed awards to dual winners in two categories. Best Performance New Distributor went to Building Plastics and Hanks Specialties while Highest Market Share went to Johnson Wholesale Floors and Space Flooring. The Best Sales Growth was given to Design Distributing and Hughes Western Sales was honored with the Premium Sales award. Tarkett Residential also recognized its top distribtors for 2005.The following companies and distributors were selected for their exceptional performance and partnership with the mill: Bergen Distributing in Salt Lake City, for sheet vinyl; Brandon Co., in North Little Rock, Ark., for FiberFloor and Nafco, and Reader’s Wholesale Distributor in Houston, for wood. “We are happy to acknowledge the winners for their outstanding sales success and partnership support,” said Perry Coker, senior vice president of sales for Tarkett Residential. “It is companies like these who differentiate Tarkett within the market, helping raise industry standards and define the company as a leader in the flooring industry.” For more on Tarkett, call 450/293-3173. —Kathlene Vercellino |
