Tarkett Rounds Out Acczent™ Portfolio of Beautiful, Resilient Floors with Twill Collection
SOLON, OH, OCTOBER 29, 2025 — Offering solutions for beautiful yet resilient healthcare spaces, Tarkett has introduced yet another line to its Acczent™ heterogeneous vinyl sheet collection. As the third and final 2025 update to the collection, Acczent Twill joins the portfolio alongside Woods & Stones and Chambray, solidifying the collection as a leading choice for designers who want a durable flooring solution without compromising on aesthetics.

Acczent Twill features three distinctive, linen-inspired patterns, each available in eight muted hues:

Poplin: A delicate sense of movement and texture with a tight weave and subtle detailing. Inspired by the fine craftsmanship of twill fabric, this pattern offers quiet complexity through its layered, tonal design.

Fibre: A tone-on-tone, deconstructed houndstooth that creates a soft, elegant texture underfoot. Its slightly larger scale and refined simplicity offer a versatile foundation for a wide range of interior styles.

Lin: The most expressive take on twill-inspired texture with an irregular knit punctuated by high-contrast accent stitching. This organic grid pattern adds visual rhythm and dimension, making it a standout choice for inviting, design-forward spaces.

“Adored for its timeless weave and naturally worn texture, linen has long been a beloved staple in both fashion and interior design. Its effortless warmth and softness bring a sense of comfort to any space,” said Omoleye Simmons, vice president of design.

Ideal for many healthcare and education applications, Acczent features a 32-mil wear layer and is protected with state-of-the-art Techtonic® XD, an excimer-cured coating specifically formulated for Tarkett’s vinyl sheet collections. Techtonic XD provides superior protection against stains (including the most challenging chemical and medical staining agents), scratches and scuffs, and does not require floor finish.

Acczent is installed with RollSmart™ adhesive, which is approved for use under hospital beds, shortens installation times and allows for immediate occupancy. It also features thermo-fused welded seams to create a monolithic surface for easy maintenance and improved hygiene.

To further support speed of installation, nine Acczent Twill products have been added to Tarkett’s Ready-to-Ship program. This curation of top-selling resilient products, wall base and accessories is shipped to local distributors within a week. All three Acczent Twill patterns are available in Greige, Camel and Cool Grey through the expedited Ready-to-Ship program.

The collection is Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly®, ortho-phthalate–free, and is part of Tarkett's ReStart take-back and recycling program.
