Updated Acczent Woods & Stones Collection Marries Beauty with Durability
SOLON, OH — Tarkett, a world leader in innovative and sustainable flooring solutions, has announced updates to its Acczent™ Woods & Stones heterogeneous vinyl sheet collection. The portfolio, designed to provide steadfast resilience for demanding environments, now features 30 wood patterns and 8 stone visuals with a beautiful matte finish.

"With this collection, there’s no need to choose between beauty and resilience,” said Omoleye Simmons, vice president of design. “The classic palette supports interior designs that are both inviting and enduring, and the unmatched durability ensures the floor will retain its beauty over time.”

Acczent is constructed with a 32-mil wear layer and state-of-the-art Techtonic® XD protection, an excimer-cured coating specifically formulated for Tarkett’s vinyl sheet collections that provides superior protection against stains, scratches and scuffs, and does not require floor finish.

Ideal for many healthcare applications, Acczent is installed with thermo-fused welded seams to create a monolithic surface for easy maintenance and improved hygiene. Based on third-party testing to ASTM F925, Techtonic XD provides superior stain resistance to all of the most challenging chemical and medical staining agents and performs better than a leading competitor against 65% of them. Plus, Tarkett RollSmart™ adhesive is approved for use under hospital beds, shortens installation times and allows for immediate occupancy.

Further helping to create visually cohesive spaces that meet specific performance needs, Acczent Woods & Stones are designed to coordinate with Tarkett’s iD Latitude luxury vinyl tiles and planks. Tarkett's own expert designers are available through the Designer on Demand program to co-create flooring layouts and fulfill any vision.

The collection is Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly®, ortho-phthalate–free and is accepted through Tarkett’s ReStart® take-back and recycling program at the end of its life.
