Elmsford, NY … RD Weis Companies and CTS Flooring Group announced the organizational promotions of both Vic Fotia, who will now serve as Director of Operations for the company’s sports division, PASS, and Chris Dias, who will assume the position of Director of Operations and Logistics for RD Weis.

In his previous role as Vice President of Operations for RD Weis Companies, Vic was responsible for overseeing the duties of more than 20 Technicians and two Night Field Supervisors in the Elmsford, NY, NY Metro, NJ and Lower CT areas.

“Vic is an RD Weis veteran of over 25 years, and has come up through the operations side of our business,” said Charles Doherty, General Manager of PASS. “Vic has managed the most people through the years, and controlled one of the largest budgets in the company. He’s ideally suited to step into this ground floor role to help define all facets of operations and project management.”

Professional Athletic Sports Surfaces (PASS), the company’s new sports division was started last September under General Manger Charlie Doherty, a sports flooring expert with a 28-year track record. The division focuses on the turf, event flooring and air structure markets.

With Vic moving to PASS, RD Weis veteran Chris Dias will assume the position of Director of Operations and Logistics, managing labor, work scheduling, and oversight of the warehouse operation/fleet. Chris will report to Rosa Spoto, VP Administration.
