| 7/11/2008 12:34:45 AM Stain Master vinyl
Anyone know where I can find installation recommendations for stain master vinyl products. Some other installer told the salesman that it requires a 'special adhesive' that cost about 120.00. Every stainmaster product I've installed has been just a regular paper backing on it.

It's realy a Mannington product. But not listed in thier installation recommendations handbook.
I do not know if box stores carry it. I've only installed it through floor covering stores.
It's not a new product, been out at least 2 years, maybe more.
can't find anything on the web. I reall do not think there is anything special about the installation, but.....just checking.

| 7/11/2008 10:38:12 AM You probably tried this...
Have you tried calling Mannington directly. Their toll-free # is (800) FLOOR-US.
Stainmaster Resilient toll free # is 877-446-8478.
I hope this helps...

Yes it is Mannington and you can just follow Manningtons instructions. Been unable to get on for a little moved to a new house. ( it is pretty bad when you need to get a bigger home to have the kids and their children come over ) Mannington had stopped doing training for a little time but have started it back up.

It's a felt backed, residential vinyl. Not inlaid.

Roland, with his many contacts came through. He had StainMaster Cust. Service fax him and he forwarded it to me.
It's what we all already know, it's just a Mannington product.

Barry sorry it took me a few days to get it to you, I hate that you did not get the job because someone was uneducated.

actually it was the sales person who was uneducated. They other installer was blowing alot of smoke about special expensive adhesives, having to remove all the old underlayemnt beause StainMaster can't be installed over existing, etc.
