I will check my storage. I have several boxes out there but not all the same style.

I see these kinds of posts searching for specific product and run/dye lot numbers and always wonder if anybody finds what they need? Seems like a long-shot, but certainly worth the try if it saves the end user money.

VTC tile question..... Does the tile change color due to exposure to light and maintance leaving these "patches" visible anyway?

Actually, That has been the primary problem on this job.

There was a lot of patchwork that this Out of town company did.

Then the hospital complained of a different dyelot being used.

It was inspected and assumed that a different dyelot was used. (The difference was the last letter A and B.)

These areas were replaced again and still didn't blend. They tried to wax (6 coats) the individual patched areas. At this time there is about a box left. With probably 2 boxes worth needing to be replaced due to dirty substrate.

Anyway, when I got involved, I suggested that a section of the floor that looked like different dye lots were used be completely stripped and refinished. After that there is virtually no differece at all. And they have next to no attic stock left.

The hospital staff is not happy about having to strip the entire floor and start over.

Sounds like good advice to me. Just waxing will not do it, stripping is needed. I have not seen too much of a difference in color from lot to lot. But I don't strictly do resilient either.
