Darian and Tammy,
I could hardly get through the video of your son without breaking down. I think it's wonderful that both you and Tammy are actively reaching out to comfort others suffering the same unimaginable grief of losing a child in death.
The void left by your sons passing will only be filled when you are reunited with him in the Bible-based hope of the resurrection soon to occur in God's new earth. His son (Jesus) said at John 5:28 'Do not marvel at this (all his previous miracles), because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (those who died in God's memory- including your son) will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life...'
The Bible assures us that there is a yearning on the part of both God and Jesus to do this at Job 14:13-15.
Stay faithful to this sure promise and continue to rely on the scriptual comfort that only God's word and Spirit can provide. As the Creator of all life, He and He alone has both the ability and desire to restore life to our dead loved ones.
May His strong arms remain tightly wrapped around you and your family, providing the needed comfort all of you deserve.
Warm regards,
David

Darian, I am glad that you are taking the small steps on the road to recovery. I may take many months or years to get back to normal, but a parent never forgets. Be there for your wife and keep a strong family together.
I will echo the thoughts of David.
p.s. to David: All my brothers and sisters think like you do!

Roger,
Having just celebrated the memorial of Jesus death (annual celebration) on Saturday, March 22nd (Nisan 14 on the Jewish calendar)- has reinforced and strengthened my faith in the resurrection hope as well as appreciation for the ransom Jesus provided for all those excercising faith.
