| 3/7/2008 10:36:27 AM The Brown Recluse Spider
When I was working on the jet, installing new carpet, one of the helpers they gave me to work with said he had just gotten over a recluse--spider bite.
He also said that he had been bitten several other times by the recluse, suffering a lot from it.
This is in Georgia and he was a young black man. I considered all the ramifications of this and since he didn't have a high school diploma--well, I can't be sure, but I thought, how can one guy--household have so many recluse spiders biting him.
I let it go for awhile and today, standing at the kitchen window, looking into the back yard, I was watching a red fox meander around in the light rain, it hit me, the recluse spider may need tempretures to be pretty constant and dry.
So if say this young man lives in a house without air conditioning, it's very possible that that' is why the recluse are in his home and biting him during the night.
If any of you are helping poor people and you see this happening, maybe this will help.
Just a thought.
