I set up the class and organized it on the inspectors end. However, once the course was agreed to be taught, total control is the University's. It is a short course taught by them.
So, their procedure is to put out press releases or public releases listing all their courses. So, I "jumped the gun" in my happiness. David understood once I explained it to him and kindly removed it at my request.
Now, what I am going to do it post photographs of the class and the laboratory equipment so you guys can see it. That will be interesting.
thanks David, and thanks to you guys for the support and I hope, understanding.

Yes that would be very interesting Selva. We got to take photos of the laboratory and mill when I went. I got two take 210 photos and then they told us we could not share them afterwards. Why take photos if you can't share them. If I would have known that I wouldn't of wasted my time and money taking them.

who is going to stop you now? do they send you work? if no, then, post them, did they take your camera away?
Once, when trying to get into a big french tire company's facility, they would not let me in without a security guard escort because I had a "camera", the thing is, that day, I forgot I had my doubleB. 12ga with me in a soft case in the back seat,,,now, that was ok, but, not the camera.

ok, now, it is full. No more applications being taken.
should be fun! and educational. many of the "schools" that say they have our best interest at heart, would charge between 1500 to 2000 dollars for a course like this, but the thing is, none of them are qualified to teach a course like this.
One "instructor" would justify his high fees by saying the best training cost. But, after going to a couple of his classes, and seeing/hearing him say some of the most stupid things to come out of a grown man's mouth, well, for instance, once he showed a photo of a cupping floor, then, one of a hill behind the house, then, he said, the house with a crawl space is below grade and that caused the cupping...anyone want to tell us how dumb that is and what constitutes "below grade",,,,and the funny part was, in the class, everyone but me and another inspector there, were writing it down as truthful!!!!!!!
the instructor was wrong and dumb and stupid, but, over 30 students in the class thought he was right!
Sometimes, I think, the govt. should make any person who starts any kind of school or class, prove they are worthy.

You are absolutely right Lee. I've witnessed the same here from inspection reports I have see and gone behind.
That does not make me want to "join the crowd" in the least bit. As a matter of fact I have stopped doing inspections for the broker. I am content to sit back and watch them dum down the inspection community all by them selves.

Truth cost money for some manufacturers who never heard of manufacturing standards. The ones who do follow standards, don't fear truth.

Chuck, no, he will only say he knows more than the professors, he does not want education because if you ask him, he already know it all and more than anyone alive today or now dead. We are going to the people who teach all over the world and who manufacturers depend upon for testing by ANSI/ASTM standards and many manufacturers send their products there to determine if the flooring meets standards. He defends the right of the low end manufacturers to produce low end products that do not meet the lowest of standards and does it with false facts and information. No one can any longer help him. It is funny, in the past, when he needed standards or wanted to understand something, he would call and I always shared with him but now, he knows it all. I use to call him to ask him his opinion, no longer. He is not worthy any longer of serious consideration. He no longer exist.
