Installers are a valuable asset to All of us.
Installers see first hand the changes and the effects of changes the industry goes through constantly. Installers are a valuable asset to myself as an inspector simply because I don't install anymore and the feedback from the installation community keeps me up to date on what is happening in the REAL WORLD.
I do hope more installers begin to share the experiences and difficulties they are running into with all the changes to products and their experiences with new sub-floor preparation materials and adhesives....
Everything is changing so fast, it is hard for us to keep up. I look forward to the informative posts they can offer.

Installers have always been a valuable and integral part of the industry. They are the last to walk off any job, and the impression they leave either makes or breaks the dealer or manufacturer.
This is why mine were the highest paid in the area. 'At-a-boys' don't put food on the table, decent wages do.
