I've been out of Retail for 20 years and we did very well with Armstrong Anything Goes Carpet. They were the original "No matt, No Crush" warranty. The twist was so tight it would not crush/matt...
THEN !!! Fiber companies and Mills began producing products that did not deserve the warranty, but had the warranty...
I should not complain as those warranties were great for the inspection business but horrible for the Retailers with all those Angry Customers....

I guess the old saying applies here... if it aint broke, don't fix it!
For a carpet to be in production that long says it all.
