 Indian rugs are either hand-tied from Punjab province or are Numdahs,
which are smaller rugs made from felted goat hair and hand embroidered with the "tree
of life" or floral or vine-like patterns. Druggets are simpler and more
colorfully designed rugs made from the fleece of white-haired sheep.
