Wools of New Zealand Brand Partners Show the Diversity and Fashion of Wool at Winter Markets
MARIETTA, GA, January 5, 2015: In 2015, Wools of New Zealand Mill Partners will show the versatility of New Zealand’s pure wool with sophisticated designs and colors ranging from natural “undyed” to hundreds of shades.
At the Wools of New Zealand pavilion at the 2015 Surfaces, which will be held January 20–23 in Las Vegas, 23 wool exhibitors will gather on an oasis of green carpet to show the convention a celebration of eco-fabulous fashions in today’s colors—all illustrating the beauty, softness and durability of New Zealand wool.
As of press time, the following mills have supplied information highlighting new products for the upcoming year. Please note that the products listed have passed numerous tests to carry the Wools of New Zealand Brand. Since not all carpets and rugs made of New Zealand wool carry the brand, it is important to mention the Wools of New Zealand Brand when referring to these products.

Creative Accents Area Rugs

Design Materials is introducing two new Wools of New Zealand Brand styles at Surfaces 2015. Both are 100% pure wool and offered as companion products in completely “undyed” colors with jute secondary backing.
• Romantic: Romantic is a 72-ounce, 4-ply, 5/16-inch multilevel loop pile that captures the texture and “bulk” of some hand-tufted carpet but with consistent machine-made quality. Romantic is stocked in six undyed, natural wool colors.
• Poetic: Poetic is a 39-ounce, 4-ply, ¼-inch ribbed level loop in the same six undyed natural shades as Romantic. This style features a clean and sophisticated linear rib.
Both styles are available in 4 meter-wide broadloom or as finished area rugs made to the customer’s size specifications and priced completely finished by the square foot.

Harcourt’s Westchester is an outstanding collection of Wiltons that has clearly proven to be one of J.D. Staron’s most popular lines. This season, Harcourt has added several new, versatile designs and textures as well as attractive new colors. Every colorway has a 5" plain stripe border that coordinates with all of the designs. Made of 100% New Zealand wool, the broadloom is offered in a 13'2" width.

Nourison is introducing nine new collections of Wools of New Zealand content in the 2015 winter markets.
• Lusterweave Collection: Lusterweave is Nourison’s first flatweave. It is accented with silken shimmer using Nourison’s new “Nourlon Nylon” that looks and feels like silk. The Lusterweave collection will have four styles:
* Brilliance, a linear pattern
* Latisse, a diamond/trellis pattern
* Rythmic, a flame stitch pattern
