TORONTO, ON – February 2023 – TORLYS, a global flooring company specializing in beautiful, responsible flooring solutions, today announced that Derek Brooks, Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development North America, will be departing the company as of February 22nd, 2023.

After 22 years dedicated to the Floorcovering industry, Derek is moving upwards into the Building Materials industry, where he will become President at Watson’s Building Supplies, a $300M Ontario-based division of GMS – Gypsum Management & Supply, an American $4B publicly traded company.

Derek will be sorely missed by the team at TORLYS and by all that worked with him across the entire industry over the past two decades. We will him the very best!
