Casalgrande, 12 April 2019 - The new collections from Serenissima, the historic, prestigious Made in Italy ceramic brand, which celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, will be on show at Coverings, the event which for 30 years has been the North American focus for innovative solutions and materials for the construction industry and architecture. Professional visitors are invited to view the new Serenissima collections from 9 to 12 April 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando (Florida, USA), booth #831 of the Italian Pavilion.

Magistra, Serenissima's exclusive interpretation of antique marble in porcelain stoneware, will be on show at Orlando, a collection which revisits the original material in the light of the most innovative technologies at the service of modern design. Proposed in an interesting selection of sizes and finishes, including the LUX version, which enhances the effects of time and wear on the individual piece, Magistra is available in five colours from the refined black of Marquinia, to the feminine elegance of Fior di Bosco, via the vintage tones of Cappuccino, the originality of Paonazzetto and the eclectic beige Oniciato of Corinthian.

Fossil and Quarzi will be presented by Serenissima for the first time at the most prestigious North American exhibition. With Fossil, Serenissima's research into aesthetics has discovered new elements for the language of modern design materials: a new proposal with an ancient flavour, in fine porcelain stoneware, which interprets a series of rare and precious fossil stones, characterised by patterns of colour, nuances and evocative subtle veining for a high visual impact. The two surface finishes of Fossil enhance the special qualities of the collection's colours, four eclectic neutral tones which supplement current fashions in a highly original manner.

Natural materials are also the inspiration for Quarzi, a new collection based on Alpine quartzite, a material with a long tradition of use in architecture. Elegant, but with just a touch of eccentricity, Serenissima's Quarzi collection translates the evocative colours and veining of the natural material into ceramic, to offer a decisive style statement which gives strong character to any space.
