BALTIMORE, MD., August 6, 2018 – Fishman Flooring Solutions, a leading distributor of flooring and flooring installation products, has relocated its Charlotte, North Carolina branch to the Metrolina Business Park effective immediately. The new branch, which can be easily accessed from major thoroughfares, including I-77, I-485 and I-85, will feature a customer-friendly showroom and its adjoining warehouse will more than double Fishman’s warehouse capacity in Charlotte.

“The relocation of our Charlotte branch is very important strategically for our firm,” said Fishman President and CEO Bob Wagner. “It will not only improve our ability to more efficiently and effectively meet the needs of our current customer base in the region, but it also sets the stage for aggressive growth in an area that has very high potential for us.”

Charlotte will now become the shipping hub for the Southeastern portion of Fishman’s operating footprint. The expanded warehouse, which will feature seven dock doors and 30-foot clear ceilings, will be fully stocked with all of the firm’s product lines. This will expedite the transfer of these products to Fishman branches in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, as well as to future locations in the region.

The Charlotte branch is the third Fishman facility to be expanded in the past 18 months, reflecting the firm’s growth. The company expanded its Columbus, Ohio branch and warehouse in September 2017 and increased office space at its Baltimore, Maryland headquarters in March of this year. In addition, Fishman opened new branches in Knoxville, Tennessee in March 2017 and Nashville, Tennessee in March 2018.
