NEW YORK, August 2, 2017 -- The IFDA New York Chapter will host a seminar on the properties of color and light in addition to a history of lighting options at New York's Jacob J. Javits Convention Center at Room 1A 01 Lower Level, Monday, August 21 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The seminar is held during the running of the NY NOW® trade show, an IFDA NY Silver Sponsor.

Amy Figueroa, Architectural & Design Representative from Benjamin Moore, North America's favorite paint, color and coatings brand, and a IFDA NY Chapter Gold Sponsor, will present the seminar. She will also discuss the various types of lighting available today and how light technologies can enhance or alter colors within a space. Attendees will gain an understanding of metamerism, Color Rendering Index (CRI), Light Reflectance Value (LRV) and how these elements impact design and color decisions.
