Quality begins with the RITEŽ Training Installation Vocational Program In response to the industry-wide need for basic, hands-on installation training, the WFCA developed an educational hands-on curriculum that is perfect for use in high schools, community colleges, vocational training facilities, community centers and continuing education programs... The RITEŽ Program covers installation procedures in five floor covering products: Carpet Resilient Hardwood Ceramic Laminate The program is designed for beginners with little or no previous knowledge of the trade. The curriculums are generic to the extent that no specific product brands are endorsed. However, industry standards and manufacturer's recommendations are followed. The curriculums also cover: Tools and their uses Planning, measuring and estimating People skills Classroom lessons and hands-on instruction for individual students are both part of the program. The RITEŽ Program has been successfully integrated into a variety of schools nationwide. The WFCA looks forward to helping to implement the RITEŽ Program in your school or vocational center. The RITEŽ Program courses are also offered by the WFCA in cooperation with WFCA local affiliate floor covering associations in locations throughout the U.S. |
