Luxury Vinyl Planks and Vinyl Tile

When a new product comes on the market that pleases the consumer you will see sales surge and options for the product increase. That is the case with the new luxury vinyls.

Initially we thought that these floating vinyls were going to simmer down from a full boil and that wood flooring would make a hefty comeback but that has not happened yet. This goes to show that a successful product is well received by the customer. The best review is the neighbor who sees and likes what their neighbor has installed in their home.

So why are the new floating vinyls so popular? The pricing is right. There is a wide range of pricing starting at about $4 SF to $7 SF. The pricing factors are authenticity of color and pattern, ceramic bead finishes, quality of the click system, wear layer and overall thickness.

Floating floors are more forgiving than glue-down floors so there generally is less prep work.

If you are considering Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) or Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) it will serve you well with a quality product and professional installation.

Zen Shower

This simple look is calm and soothing in classic neutrals. The body of the shower is 12 x 24 tile with a metallic border or a wide vertical stripe. The shower floor is a two tone pebble.

New Tile Line

Here are a couple tiles from a new line we carry. Awesome colors and patterns. Use as a backsplash or in a shower.

Luxury Vinyl Wood Plank

So what is all the rage now? People are looking for beauty and convenience in their flooring. What could be more convenient than vinyl on the floor. It is chip, scratch and dent resistant and looks like the real thing.

Luxury Vinyl Plank or Luxury Vinyl Tile looks great and it installs easily. Easy to clean and maintain.

We have a great selection to pick from. Our lines are Karndean, Metroflor, Forbo, and Cortec just to name a few. Come in a take a look.

Blind & Shade Repair

crooked blind 2

As a Hunter Douglas dealer we service your blinds. The most common repair is replacing the strings. The warranty on strings is 7 years. You can find the production date in the headrail of your shade to check the date.

You can bring in your blinds to be restrung. Please call for current hours and pricing.

Here is the pricing structure  on non-warranty restrings.

TopDownBottomUp shades have an additional fee

Pullcords to 60″

over 60″

Cordless or
UltraGlide to 60″
over 60″

Cord Loop
EasyRise to 60″
over 60″

2/1 on one headrail is considered two blinds.

Please call for motorization repairs or issues.

We can come and pick up your blinds for repair and reinstall them. Please call for trip charges and install fees.

At this time we only service Hunter Douglas blinds.

There are no replacement parts for vinyl slatted blinds and we do not restring
them.

Please wipe down headrails to remove any dust before bringing in for repair. Honeycombs should be tightly accordian-folded by hand to prevent any damage to the fabric. Shades such as Silhouette should be gently rolled around the headrail if it is stuck in a down position and not rolled up into the headrail. This is to protect the fabric from permanent wrinkling in transport. Again, please clean headrails to prevent any transfer of grime to the shades.

Older shades can be repaired but often will begin to be hard to raise as the inner parts  wear out. If the shade is discontinued then parts may no longer be available.

Contact us if you have a warranty issue.

Silestone and Wood Countertop

Here is a current project that involved removing laminate countertops and a 4 1/4″ tile backsplash, The eating counter was also tile and it was removed. We replaced the laminate with Silestone Lusso. The customer loves it. The slightly swirled pattern hides spots and the gold-brown veins add interest.

The eating counter was made from a slab of maple from TreeFolks in Belfair. It was planed, cut into 3 pieces, rejoined, stained and installed in place of the old-fashioned tile countertop. The wood adds a nice contrast to all the hard surfaces.

The backsplash tile is called Zodiac and we sell it here at Allyn Interiors. It is a ceramic and glass blend. It blends great with the Silestone Lusso and is a traditional pattern that will have a long time appeal.

The sink selected was a Ruvati 16 gauge stainless steel and the faucet was Kohler Forte in brushed nickel.

The new flooring is Engage Rustics vinyl luxury plank for easy care and maintenance. It went right over the old vinyl floor.

The kitchen shade is a  roman woven wood from the Provenance collection for added texture and color to balance the floor and wood countertop.

These changes really updated this manufactured home and created an area that the homeowners will enjoy future meal preparation.

DreamWeaver Fisher Island

One of our most popular designs is a carpet from DreamWeavers. Fisher Island is only 17.95 a SY or 1.99 SF. Installed the price is 29.95 SY or 3.33 SF using our best 8# 7/16″ foam pad.

This is a perfect low-pile carpet for medium traffic areas, dens,  & bedrooms etc. The color palette is neutral for a look that will not go out of style. The pattern is a subtle basket weave. Always remember that we have to order a bit more yardage for patterned berbers. We can only side seam berbers unlike the plushes that can be seamed on all sides.
